District Safety

The District Safety Department is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and staff. We work closely with school administrators, teachers, community members, and local law enforcement to develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and programs.

Our mission is to:

*Promote positive behavior and a supportive school climate.

*Prepare for and respond to emergencies effectively.

Our Services

The District Safety Department provides a variety of services to support schools and the community, including:

School safety assessments:

We conduct comprehensive safety assessments of all schools in our district to identify and address potential hazards and vulnerabilities.

Safety training:

We provide training to school staff and students on a variety of safety topics, including emergency preparedness, bullying prevention, and mental health awareness.

Crisis response:

We develop and implement crisis response plans for all schools in our district. We also work with first responders to ensure that everyone is prepared to respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Community outreach:

We work with community members to develop and implement strategies to reduce crime and violence around schools. We also educate the public about school safety issues.
