Greenwood School District 52 announced today that Monday, April 8 will be an early dismissal day for the district due a partial solar eclipse. The partial solar eclipse will occur from 1:30 p.m. - 4:20 p.m. A partial solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes in front of the sun.

Greenwood School District 52 Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Dr. Paul Spadaro has announced plans to move into a new role in a New York school district next school year. Dr. Spadaro recently accepted an offer to become the new Superintendent at Rondout Valley Central School District in Accord, New York.

Fitz Sprowl has been named as the new principal at Ninety Six High School for the 2024-2025 school year. Sprowl is currently the assistant principal at Ninety Six High School, a position he has held for the last four years.
