In response to the potential severe weather from Tropical Storm Helene, Greenwood School District 52 has scheduled an eLearning Day for Friday, September 27, 2024. All schools will be closed and students and staff will not report to school. Additionally, all after-school activities on Thursday, September 26 are canceled.
According to the Greenwood Emergency Preparedness Center, the National Weather Service has forecasted heavy rainfall starting late Thursday night with the potential for widespread flash flooding. Wind gusts between 35 to 50 mph are expected which could cause downed trees and power outages in our local area.
E-Learning assignments will be posted to Google Classroom or Class Dojo for all students grades K-12. Completion of the work will count as the day’s attendance. Students should complete all assigned work from their teacher. Assignments will be due the week of October 14-18. Teachers will be available via email/Dojo during the day.
